Coastline of China
The coastline measures from the Bohai Gulf in the north to the Gulf of Tonkin in the south. The northern part of the coastline is low lying, although some mountains and hills of Northeast China and the Shandong Peninsula extend to the coast. The southern half is very irregular like Zhejiang and Fujian provinces on the coast are rocky and steep.
