This thematic map of Indiana is a detailed representation of urban features of the state. Elaborate detailing of road network, accurate placement of towns and cities and precise markings of terrain features makes this map ideal for reference use. It is a planned city and its main attractions include zoo, museum, historic sites, War Memorial, Monuments, parks and recreational areas. Four interstate highways pass through the city. Rail routes are drawn out clearly along with state routes and other primary and secondary roads. Airport locations are also indicated on the frame.

  • City Inset of Downtown Indianapolis

    This inset enables the fastest possible orientation of the downtown area of Indianapolis. It is the central business district of the city and includes Government facilities, medical centers and universities. It is commonly known as the “Mile Square.” The inset is elaborated with up to date street information and landmark locations.     Bloomington is located in the southern region of the state. It is the seventh largest city of the state and also the seat of Monroe County. University of Indiana is located in Bloomington. There are no airports located in the city but Monroe County Airport lies five miles away from Bloomington.

    Fort Wayne is the second most populated city in Indiana located in the northeastern part of the state. It is the seat of Allen County and is the principal city of Fort Wayne metropolitan area. St Joseph can be seen flowing in the northern part of the city and Maumee River flows from north to south.

    Points of interest include zoos, museums, historical sites and landmarks, botanical gardens, parks and recreational areas. The city is served mainly by interstate 69. State highways, intersections thoroughfares, tollways and other roads are also drawn out clearly for easy orientation.     Elkhart is located in Elkhart County and is nicknamed the “City with a heart”. The city lies on the banks of St Joseph and Elkhart river.     Lafayette is the seat of Tippecanoe County which is located in the central part of the state. Interstate 65, US Route 52 and 251 serves the city along with State Highways 25, 26 and 38. Amtrak provides passenger rail service to the city however there are no airports located within the city limits. Art museums, Horticulture gardens, Purdue University, botanical gardens and notable architecture are the main attractions of the city. Other two points of interest include the Headstone of Martin.     Terre Haute is the seat of Vigo County and is located on the western border of the state. It is the home to many universities and educational institutions. Highways serving the city are numbered in the inset for easy understanding. Interstate 70 runs west to east. Other National and State highways, thoroughfares intersections are also marked clearly.     Evansville is the seat of Vanderburgh County and is the third most populous city of the state. It is nicknamed the “crescent city”, because of its location on the meander of the Ohio River. Points of interest in the city include Zoos, Museums, parks, Wesselman Woods Natural Preserve and recreational areas. Interstate highway 64, State highways and national highways that run through the city are numbered and accurately marked.     Muncie is the seat of Delaware County and the principal city of Muncie Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is an incorporated city nicknamed “ Little Chicago”. Interstate highways 69 runs through the city. Other highways that serve the city include US Route 35 and State Highways 3, 32, 67 and 332.     South Bend is the seat of St Joseph County and is located on the southernmost bend of the St Joseph river. It is the fourth largest city of the State. The History Museum, Studebakers National Museum, South Bend Civil Rights Heritage Center, parks and recreational areas are the main attractions of the city. Interstate 80,90 and Indiana Toll road connect the city along with state highways and national highways. Railroads, airport locations and notable buildings are also marked for quick reference.
